Eo amo Brasil!!

Olá Amigos!!
I wanted to let you know, that we are having an amazing time here in Maringá - Brasil!! Today is actually our last day here, this week went by so fast, but God did incredible things! I will tell you more later...about the program, what we did and how God changed the lives of teenagers this year!
Today I have to find a way to say good bye to the many sweet brasilian friends I made here, such amazing teens! I´m so overwhelmed how God arranged it for me to be here, it was so worth it! I´m having divine appointements with teens, I God even brought an old friend back into my life, Giannina, which is so cool!
The weather is really nice, some rain sometimes, but very warm. We are leaving to Sao paulo tonight around midnight, will be a 10 hour drive with the bus.
Brasil is a fascinating country, so much energy, love, joy, passion...Love the people and the culture, although its totally the opposite of us germans :) Especially their sense of time, haha!
Im learning a lot, including some portuguese...fabulous time! I hope you all are doing well, I´m thinking of you and I miss you!!

Es gibt Neuigkeiten bezueglich meines Aufenthalts in Houston!
Morgen Mittag werde ich nach Sao Paulo - Brasilien fliegen. Ich werde dort 18 Tage bleiben und dann zurueck in die Staaten fliegen um 3 weitere Monate hier in Houston zu sein.

Ich weiss es ist sehr ueberraschend, aber nach langem Gebet und Nachdenken hat Gott wundersamerweise diese Tuer geoeffnet und jetzt geht es morgen schon los :)

Ich werde im Programmteam bei TEENSTREET BRASILIEN sein. Teenstreet ist eine Jugendkonferenz von Operation Mobilisation, die es in vielen Orten auf der Welt gibt. In Brasilien sind ca. 2000 Teenager und Mitarbeiter. Die ersten Tage werden Vorbereitung sein und darauf folgen 7 Tage Teenstreet in Meringa. Im Anschluss gibt es einen ein-woechigen Einsatz in Sao Paulo. Ich bin also sehr gespannt wie es wird und freue mich, Gott ist treu und er sorgt so gut fuer uns!!


Tut mir Leid, Freunde, dass ich euch also erst wieder Ende April sehen werde, ich hab ja eigentlich vorgehabt nach Hause zu kommen... also verzeiht mir...

Aber ich weiss, dass Gott mich in Brasilien gebrauchen will und es wird bestimmt eine tolle Erfahrung! Ich denke an euch und freue mich ueber Emails von euch!

Ich halte euch auf dem Laufenden!!

Ihr koennt fuer eine gute und sichere Reise beten, fuer eine geniale Zeit auf Teenstreet und hammer Erlebnisse mit Gott fuer die Teens und Mitarbeiter, und fuer Gottes Gunst bei der Einreise in die Staaten!

there's some news concerning my stay here in Houston...

Tomorrow afternoon I will be flying to Sao Paulo/Brasil. I'm gonna stay there for about 18 days and then come back to be here in Houston for another 3 months, after that I will finally be home again :)

I know it's a bit of a surprise,but after a lot of prayer and thoughts, God miraculously opened this door for me!! So Im gonna fly to Brasil tomorrow, exciting!!

I'm gonna be part of Teenstreet Brasil, which is a big youth conference run by OM. Teenstreet is also taking place in other country (in Germany in the summer...). So I'll be a part of the Programmteam. Theres about 2000 Teens, including Staff and Group leaders... So after a couple of days preparing for TS there will be one week of Teenstreet in Meringa. Followed by an outreach in Sao Paulo, which I will be a part of as well, so I'm really excited what God's gonna do!! God's so faithful and so good and such a great provider!!

So sorry, that I wont be seeing you guys now at the end of this month, but Im finally gonna come back for good in April!! So Ill keep you guys posted about everything and I always love to hearfrom you guys as well!

You guys can be praying for safe travels, and anointed time in Brasil for the Teens and staff, for wisdom, and for God'd favor getting back here!!

Viel Kraft, Freude, Liebe und neue, spannende Erlebnisse dieses Jahr!
Moegen alle Ziele erreicht und Traeume erfuellt werden....
Moege Gott euch beschuetzen und leiten dieses Jahr...
Moegen wir Ihn besser kennen und lieben dieses Jahr...

Meine Weihnachtszeit war sehr schoen und besonders, obwohl ich euch natuerlich alle vermisst habe...
Ich war mit Menschen zusammen, die ich so gern habe und wie Familie sind, gemeinsam konnten wir dieses besondere Fest feiern!!

Auch Silvester war schoen und sehr aufregend mit Feuerwerk und Boellern die in unsere Richtung kamen :) Unvergessliche Momente...

Diese Woche geht also alles wieder richtig los, alle Einsaetze und noch mehr. Ausserdem bereiten wir auch schon einiges fuer die naechsten drei Monate vor, in denen "neue Interns" hier sein werden! Ich bin jetzt schon gespannt was Gott in dieser Zeit vor hat, und wie wir als Young Hope Team den Menschen hier in Houston dienen koennen.

The last weeks were great! I had an amazing and very special Christmas with my friends here, that are like family to me... Of course I missed all of YOU though...

Our New Years Eve was fun as well, with a lot of Fireworks, that accidently went off in our direction :) Great, unforgettable memories...

This week all the ministries are back on again!! Also we are preparing different things for the coming months, when we will have "new interns" coming in again! I'm already so excited about what God's going to do and how He will use the Young Hope team to serve people here in Houston, Im sure He's gonna do amazing things...

I'm just reading this book called "On being a servant of God" and this is a definition of ministry that I really like. It means that it's God's resources, and not our experience, knowledge, education, that meet the human needs...we are just the channels and vessels in God's hand, that are loving and caring like He is, and all the glory should be to GOD alone and not to us!

An dem Abend war die Kindebetreuung so voll, dass ich mit dem kleinen Jeremiah gar nicht mehr reingepasst habe... - The nursery was so full that I didnt even fit in with little Jeremiah...

Das war Street Church kurz vor Weihnachten, es war so VOLL!! Ausserdem wurden Rucksaecke, Decken, Schlafsaecke etc ausgegeben, der hammer!! -This was Street Church couple days before Christmas, it was PACKED and they handed out sleeing bags, Backpacks, etc, it was amazing!!
