The heavy burden-about 2 heavy ministries here

Heute war ein intensiver Tag.
Hier ein Einblick in eine weitere Arbeit in Houston!

"HUMAN TRAFFICKING"

Dieses Wort sagt vielen Menschen ueberhaupt nichts! Bis vor einem Jahr ging es mir genauso.
Woertlich uebersetzt heisst es "Menschenhandel".
Maedchen, die als Sklaven behandelt und unfreiwillig in Bordellen, oder sogenannten "Spa's" festgehalten werden, um dort als Prostituierte zu arbeiten!!
Das hoert sich sehr nach Asien oder Afrika an, aber doch nicht nach AMERIKA, oder sogar EUROPA!? Hoert sich eher nach Sklaverei von frueher an, aber doch nicht nach Sklaverei ein paar Kilometer entfernt von uns!?

Traurigerweise ist Menschenhandel heutzutage das am schnellstsen wachsende Verbrechen in der Welt!!! Nach dem Waffenhandel ist der Menschenhandel das groesste Verbrechen, das es gibt!!! (darauf folgt der Drogenhandel)

Circa 600.000 bis 820.000 Maenner, Frauen und Kinder werden jedes Jahr ueber internationale Grenzen verschleppt, und versklavt! 80 % sind Frauen und Maedchen, und bis zu 50 % davon sind MINDERJAEHRIG!!
Viele kommen aus Asien und Suedamerika.

Auch in Europa gibt es bis zu ca. 270.000 Opfer des Menschenhandels!!

Das sind schockierende Zahlen oder?!
Ich konnte mir das frueher gar nicht vorstellen und wollte auch gar nicht darueber nach denken.

Hier in Houston arbeiten wir mit einem Ministry zusammen ("Redeemed-ministry")!
Jede Woche gehen ca. 3 von uns Maedels in ungefaehr 5-8 verschiedene Bordelle, hier nur "Spa's" genannt! (die sich nicht weit von hier, in der Naehe des Highways befinden. Auf einer langen Strasse, 1960, gibt es ca 29 verschiedene Spas) Waehrend einer von unseren Jungs im Auto wartet und mit uns in Kontakt ist, bringen wir den Maedels kleine Geschenke, reden und beten mit ihnen!
Es ist unglaublich! Schrecklich, herzerreissend, und wie eine schwere Last!!

Heute hatten wir so unglaublich intensive Gespraeche und Gebete mit einigen der Ladies, sie waren so offen und wollten reden und ich hab echt so gemerkt, wie Gott sie einfach da raus holen will und wir ihnen seine Liebe und Hoffnung bringen sollen!
Einige der Frauen haben geweint, waren verzweifelt, andere waren kalt und innerlich wie tot!
Wir haben Saetze gehoert wie: "Holt mich einfach nur hier raus" oder "Ich kann nichts darueber sagen, SIE beobachten uns" oder " Ihr seid wie Engel die Gott vom Himmel zu uns schickt"

Ihr koennt echt fuer viel Weisheit in dieser Arbeit beten und die richtigen Worte und Schutz!
Wir koennen sehen, dass Gott WIRKT und die Herzen dieser Maedels beruehrt. Heute Nachmittag war echt besonders!

Danach sind wir in ein Heim fuer Maedels im Teenager Alter, die nicht bei ihren Eltern bleiben koennen oder sehr schwierig sind, gefahren. Die Organisation heisst "We care" Viele dieser Maedels sind so jung und haben schon so viel Schreckliches in ihrem Leben erlebt! Einige waren drogenabhaengig, viele sind schon Muetter, viele haben Traumatisches erlebt, keine Familie mehr, ein bisschen "screwed up" wuerde man denken!
Ich habe die Maedels heute zum ersten Mal kennen gelernt und Debs hat eine coole Christmas-Story Time vorbereitet gehabt! Aber wenn man so in die Gesichter dieser Maedels schaut ueberkommt einem so eine Traurigkeit und es ist fast schon wieder ein ueberwaeltigendes Gefuehl: "eine schwere Last"!!

In diesen 2 Stunden bei "WE CARE" koennen wir fuer diese Maedchen beten, fuer sie da sein, ihnen eine Umarmung geben, sie troseten, und ihnen sagen, dass Gott BEI IHNEN ist und sie endlos LIEBT und er sie NEU machen kann!

Today was a really intense day.
I want to tell you about another Ministry we are involved in here in Houston!

"HUMAN TRAFFICKING"

This word might not mean anything to a lot of people! Until one year ago, I had no idea what "Humand trafficking" is all about!
Girls, that are being treated like slaves, are being kept in brothels and forced to work as prostitutes!!! Here in America those brothels would only be called "Spa's".

Doesn't this sound more like Asia or Africa?! That doesnt sound like it would exist in America or even Europe?! It sounds more like the slavery we know from years ago, but i can't imagine that this happens just some miles away from us?!

Unfortunately and sadly Human Trafficking is right now the fastest growing crime in the whole world!!! And also the second biggest crime in the world (after "arms trade", after Human trafficking comes "drug trade").
- Can you believe this? -

Approximately 600.000 to 820.000 men, women and children are being sold and trafficked every year internationally! 80 % are Women and young girls and 50 % of those are MINERS!!
A lot of them come from Asia and South America!

Also in Europe there are about 270.000 victims of Human Trafficking!!

Those are such shocking numbers, aren't they!?
A year ago I could have never imagined that this is real, in fact I didnt really wanna think about it.

Here in Houston we work with a ministry that is called "Redeemed-ministry". Every week about three of us girls go into 5-8 different Spas. (These spas are mostly close to the Highway, in 1960, a really long road are about 29 different Spas).
While one of our guys stays in the car and is in touch with us, we bring gift bags to the ladies, talk to them, pray with them, try to build up relationships.
It is seriously unbelievable! It's terrible, heart breaking to see them, you can sense the heavy burden!!

Today we had such amazing and intense prayers and conversations with some of the Ladies, they were so open and needed to talk to someone and I could really feel how God cares for them, and how He wants to release and free them. He wants us to bring them His love and His hope!
Some of the Ladies were just desperate and broken, others were so cold and reecting, sometimes they seem like dead on the inside!
We heard phrases like: "Just get me out of here", or " I can't talk about it right now, THEY are watching us", or "You are like angels from heaven that God sent here".

I ask you to pray for these ladies!!! You can also pray for wisdom in this ministry and protection and the right words to say!! We can see that God is at work in their lives and that He touches their hearts! This afternoon was very special.

After this outreach, we drove to a home for teenage girls, that either can't stay with their parents anymore, are Foster girls or are just really difficult. This organization is called "WE CARE". A lot of those girls have been through awful things in their lives! Some of them have been addicted to drugs, a lot of them are Mom's already and others just went through traumatic and terrible abuse.
Today I got to know these girls for the first time, and it was kinda hard in the beginning! Debs told a really cool Christmas-story to them and we had some good chats! But when you look into the faces of these precious girls, you can feel a heavy burden and there's just a sadness overcoming you...

But in these two Hours at We care, we had the opportunity to pray with these girls, be there for them, to give them a hug, comfort them and tell them that God is WITH THEM and that He loves them unconditionally and that He can make them NEW...now we need to pray that they might let God change their lives!

Eight days til Christmas, yay, Lets not forget what it's really all about :)
